20/21 Storytelling Event

As ombuds, we help people understand and tell their own stories.  IOA Annual Conference has hosted storytelling events in the past, these have been a way for us to connect as colleagues and as a profession through our own powerful stories.  Our 2021 conference will continue that tradition.

Tell your story! Share how your life’s experiences and perspectives have shaped your ombuds work, led you to become an ombuds, and/or have informed the way you do your work.  

At the 20/21 Storytelling Event participants are encourages to share their story using 20 image-centered slides, timed at 20 seconds per slide. As with IOA conferences in years past, this year's storytelling experience promises to be a signature event. If you are chosen to present we will be sure to support you. You will receive coaching on how to prepare and share in a virtual environment and how to get the most impact out of your story.
